This is my boy DEXTER! He’s in week 3 of Basic Obedience and this little man is rocking his “Thunder Vest”. Dexter has some “anxiety issues” and after 1 WEEK wearing the vest, he’s a HAPPY GUY! He’s working the room with tail wagging!!! We have been using these vests now with dogs who have prolonged anxiety disorder (NO, they don’t come in my size!!!) with amazing success. The vest is based on a compression theory created by Temple Grandin, a behaviorist with autism. She has revolutionized using compression theory in animals, whereas before it was used in children on the spectrum. These vests were originally used ONLY during storms (hence the name), but if left on the dog 24/7, I am seeing remarkable results, WITHOUT MEDICATION!! Can’t wait to see this boy next week!
